Role Overview:As a Baby Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the baby room team, ensuring the highest standard of care and education for babies aged 0-2 years. You will work in close partnership with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to provide a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for the babies to grow and develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the baby room team, ensuring all staff provide exceptional care and meet individual children's needs.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote babies' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Develop strong, positive relationships with babies and their families, keeping them informed of their child's progress.
- Ensure the nursery complies with safeguarding and health & safety regulations.
- Act as a role model for staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Support the ongoing development of the nursery, contributing to the implementation of best practices.
About You:
- You hold a Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- You have experience working with babies, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
- You have a passion for working with babies and supporting their early development.
- You have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- You're a natural leader with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- You are committed to providing the highest standard of care and education for all children.
