Veritas Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Rossendale to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for a maternity cover role starting October 2026.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, offering stability and the chance to make a real impact within a supportive department.
The Role:
- Teach MFL (French and/or Spanish) across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging and effective language lessons
- Support students of varying abilities to develop confidence in languages
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Contribute to the wider MFL department and school community
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school
- Ability to teach French and/or Spanish to KS3/KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about language learning and student progress
- ECTs are welcome to apply
