Science Teacher - Secondary School (Burnley) Full Time | September Start | Ongoing until at least Christmas (potentially longer) Via Veritas Education
Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Burnley to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.
This role is initially expected to run until Christmas, with a strong possibility of being extended further for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess pupils' work in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry or Physics
- Passionate about inspiring young learners and raising attainment
- ECTs are encouraged to apply
