Supply Role | Immediate/Upcoming Start | Approx. 3 Months (Potentially Longer) Via Veritas Education
Veritas Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to support a secondary school in Blackburn on a supply basis.
This is a full-time role expected to last around 3 months, with the possibility of being extended further depending on school needs.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Follow existing schemes of work and maintain continuity for students
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Mark and assess work where required
- Support students in achieving their full potential
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching History in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, reliable and able to adapt quickly to a new environment
- Available for a minimum 3-month commitment
