About Us
We are a specialist school in West London dedicated to supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our focus is on creating a safe, inclusive, and structured environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We use relationship-based approaches, consistent routines, and therapeutic strategies to help students build resilience, self-regulation, and confidence.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. You will support students with SEMH needs in the classroom, implement behaviour management strategies, and encourage positive engagement in learning. You will also be responsible for transporting students safely to enrichment trips and off-site activities, supporting their wider learning and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group SEMH support to help students access the curriculum
- Implement behaviour management strategies and support emotional regulation in line with school policies
- Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and safe manner
- Support teachers with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual student needs
- Build positive relationships to promote trust, resilience, and confidence
- Drive students to off-site enrichment trips, ensuring safety, punctuality, and engagement
- Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and equality in all aspects of school life
About you:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEN, or additional needs
- Ability to apply positive behaviour management and trauma-informed practice
- Valid driving licence and willingness to transport students to enrichment activities
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced SEMH environment

Additional Information
