Are you a passionate, Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner looking for your next opportunity to shine in a dynamic nursery setting? We are seeking an experienced, dedicated individual to join a thriving team based in Horsforth, Leeds, where you will play a key role in nurturing young minds and creating a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Our client is a highly regarded nursery, committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to support children's development through play-based learning and adhere to the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework. We are looking for a practitioner who can thrive in this setting, supporting both children and staff in a collaborative and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and evaluate educational activities for children aged 0-5, ensuring they meet the EYFS standards.
- Foster strong relationships with children and their families, promoting positive emotional well-being.
- Support children's language, cognitive, social, and physical development through fun, creative, and engaging activities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, providing regular updates to parents and carers.
- Ensure the nursery is a safe, welcoming environment for both children and staff, following safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.
- Work as part of a close-knit team to ensure high standards of care and education are consistently met.
Key Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in an Early Years setting (preferably working with children aged 0-5 years).
- A sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to helping children reach their full potential.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
