Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner looking for flexibility in your career? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Supply Team across nurseries in the Leeds area, providing essential support to early years settings during staff absences and staffing shortages.
As an Early Years Practitioner in our supply team, you will be working with children in the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, ensuring that high-quality, child-led learning experiences are delivered in line with OFSTED standards. You will work across a variety of nurseries, providing tailored support in safeguarding, child development, and learning through play.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 0-5 years in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Support the planning and implementation of individual learning plans (ILPs) and personal development goals.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment for all children, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being at all times.
- Work collaboratively with nursery teams to provide continuity of care and education during staff absences.
- Support children in their social and emotional development, promoting positive behavior and building strong relationships.
- Adhere to safeguarding procedures and ensure children's safety is a priority at all times.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in an early years setting (nursery, preschool, or primary school).
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS and the principles of child development.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work as part of a dynamic team.
