Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)
Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities | Leeds
Looking for a nursery that feels different from the rest?
We're working with a truly special independent nursery in Leeds that's looking for a passionate Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their team. Whether you're seeking full-time stability or part-time flexibility, this is an opportunity to be part of a setting that genuinely puts children, families, and staff at the heart of everything it does.
This isn't a nursery where you'll just follow a routine. It's a place where children are encouraged to explore, get muddy, ask questions, and develop a real connection with the world around them. With a fantastic Forest School programme and a strong focus on outdoor learning, every day brings new opportunities for adventure, discovery, and growth.
The nursery is deeply committed to caring for the environment and helping children develop an understanding of nature from an early age. From outdoor exploration to sustainable practices, the setting creates meaningful learning experiences that children remember long after they leave.
What makes this nursery truly stand out, though, is its people.
The team is warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive. New staff are made to feel part of the family from day one, and managers are genuinely invested in the wellbeing and development of their team. Your ideas will be listened to, your hard work will be recognised, and you'll be encouraged to grow professionally within a setting that values every member of staff.
The Role
- Supporting children's learning and development through engaging play and activities
- Creating a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment
- Encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observing and recording children's progress in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting outdoor learning and Forest School experiences
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- A genuine passion for helping children thrive
- A positive, caring, and enthusiastic approach
- Someone who enjoys outdoor learning and embracing new experiences
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Why You'll Love This Role
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Competitive rates of pay
- A unique nursery environment with a well-established Forest School
- A supportive leadership team that values and invests in its staff
- Ongoing training and career progression opportunities
- A welcoming culture where everyone is respected and appreciated
- The chance to work somewhere that genuinely cares about its children, families, staff, and the environment
If you're looking for more than just your next job and want to be part of a nursery where you can make a real difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
