We are recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a wonderful independent nursery in the WF3 area of Wakefield. With both full-time and part-time opportunities available, this is a fantastic chance to become part of a setting that is passionate about children's wellbeing, staff development, and building strong relationships with families.
This unique nursery offers much more than a traditional childcare setting. With its own Forest School programme and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, children are encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through meaningful outdoor experiences. The nursery believes in fostering a love of nature from an early age, creating opportunities for children to develop confidence, independence, and curiosity in the world around them.
What truly sets this nursery apart is its people. Staff are valued as individuals, supported in their professional development, and encouraged to bring their ideas and creativity to the setting. Families are at the heart of everything they do, creating a warm and inclusive community where children feel safe, happy, and ready to thrive.

- Has experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Is passionate about child development and learning through play
- Enjoys spending time outdoors and embracing nature-based learning
