- Required before you leave
- Must be dated within 28 days of departure
Before You Travel
- Apply for QTS if you want to increase your job options (optional but useful)
- Complete your police check (must be within 28 days of travel)
- Set up banking – opening an online account in advance makes life easier. We’ll point you to the options most teachers use.
- Get a UK SIM card – plenty of flexible plans are available, and we’ll recommend ones that work well for newcomers.
- Start browsing housing – short-term lets and expat groups are a great way to meet people and settle in quickly.
