The Role
As an Art & DT Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Art and Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and achievement.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with school policies.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Contribute to departmental enrichment activities, exhibitions, and creative projects.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student success.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- The ability to motivate, challenge, and inspire students of all abilities.
