Location: Newcastle Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Permanent Positions Available: 7 roles

They serve a diverse cohort of learners aged 16+ and are one of the biggest education providers in the North East, teaching across numerous subject areas and supporting thousands of students each year.
About the Roles
Due to significant demand, we are urgently seeking multiple permanent Maths Teachers to deliver either:
- GCSE Maths (Secondary‑trained teachers preferred)
- Functional Skills Maths (Primary teachers with strong Maths specialism welcomed)
You'll be teaching learners who often need to re‑sit key qualifications, so we are looking for teachers who are engaging, enthusiastic, and able to motivate learners who may not have chosen this pathway voluntarily.
What We're Looking For
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) strongly preferred ✔ Experience teaching GCSE Maths OR Functional Skills Maths ✔ Background in Secondary or Primary (Maths specialist) teaching ✔ Ability to inspire confidence and engagement in 16-19 learners ✔ Strong behaviour management and rapport‑building skills
