Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Batley that is seeking a motivated and passionate English Teacher to join their team after the Easter break. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator looking to make a real impact across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
- Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Planning, marking and assessment in line with school and DfE expectations
- Supporting pupils to develop strong literacy, analytical and communication skills
- Working collaboratively with a dedicated English department
- Contributing to the wider school community and enrichment where appropriate

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to raising attainment

- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
