Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Wakefield area who are seeking a committed and inspirational PE Teacher to join their team after the Easter Holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with strong behaviour-management skills and a passion for engaging students in both practical and theoretical aspects of Physical Education.
About the Role
- Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering high‑quality, engaging lessons that promote physical activity, teamwork and resilience
- Planning, marking and assessment in line with school and DfE expectations
- Contributing to extracurricular sports clubs and fixtures
- Working collaboratively with a supportive department and wider school staff

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and a proactive approach to supporting learners
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

- Previous experience teaching PE/Sports Coaching in a school setting
- Qualifications
- PGCE with QTS is preferable but relevant experience will be considered
