Teaching Assistant
Veritas Education are working in partnership with a warm and supportive secondary school in the Redcar area to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a long-term temporary role expected to continue until the end of the academic year.
Role Details:
- Full-time, term-time only plus 5 days
- Supporting students across KS3 and KS4
- Working closely with teaching staff to support learning and behaviour
- Assisting with classroom activities, small group work, and 1:1 support where needed
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous classroom-based TA experience is desirable
- A DBS registered on the Update Service
- A proactive, compassionate, and flexible approach to supporting young people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
