Cover Supervisor - York High Schools
Location: York Start Date: After October Half Term Contract Type: Full-time & Part-time options available Salary: Up to £120 per day PAYE Agency: Veritas Education

Key Responsibilities:- Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Support students with their learning and maintain engagement
- Follow school policies and procedures
Requirements:- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence in managing classroom behaviour
- Previous experience working with young people is a must
- A genuine interest in education and student development

- Experience
- Experience managing behaviour of key stage 3 and 4 pupils. Minimum 3 months experience in UK high schools. Experience using school systems such as Arbor and SIMS.
- Qualifications
- Educated to G.C.S.E level. Ideally educated to degree level with a specialist subject.
