Nursery Practitioner - Flexible Hours
Location: Leeds - LS6 & LS7Organisation: Veritas Education
Looking for a role that gives you flexibility while allowing you to do what you love?
Veritas Education is currently recruiting Nursery Practitioners for welcoming nursery settings across the LS6 and LS7 areas of Leeds.
We're looking for both qualified and unqualified practitioners. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred, but if you're unqualified and have previous experience working with children, we'd still love to hear from you.
Whether you're looking for a few days a week, regular shifts or more hours, there are flexible opportunities available to suit your availability.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting children's learning and development through play and engaging activities* Creating a warm, safe and stimulating environment* Supporting children's daily routines and wellbeing* Building positive relationships with children and the wider nursery team* Encouraging confidence, independence and curiosity* Working alongside experienced Early Years practitioners* Following EYFS and safeguarding procedures
We're looking for:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred* Unqualified candidates with experience working with children are welcome* Previous nursery or childcare experience is desirable* A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach* Good communication and teamwork skills* Someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children
