KS2/KS3 QTS Specialist Teacher - Small Group Interventions
Start: ASAP Contract: Long‑term | Term‑time only
We are seeking an experienced KS2/KS3 Specialist Teacher to deliver targeted small‑group intervention sessions across our partnership sites in Sutton. The role focuses on supporting learners in Maths, English, and Science to close attainment gaps, strengthen understanding, and build confidence.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver structured intervention lessons to small groups
- Assess individual learning needs and adapt sessions accordingly
- Develop pupils' confidence, independence, and core subject skills
- Track progress and provide clear feedback to teaching staff
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and the SEN/Intervention team
Candidate Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Strong curriculum knowledge across KS2 and KS3 core subjects
- Essential: experience and confidence delivering English, Maths and Science at a KS2 level
- Experience adapting teaching for varied learning needs
- Clear, supportive communication style
- Highly organised, proactive, and available to start at short notice
- Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car
