SEN Tutor Salary: £155 - £185 per day (Depending on Experience) Contract: Full-time permanent Location: Hounslow

About the Role

A specialist Section Post-16 provision in Hounslow is seeking an experienced and motivated SEN Tutor to support young people aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and learning disabilities.

You will deliver small group, differentiated teaching across employability pathways, Functional Skills (English & Maths) and PSHE, helping learners build confidence, independence and nationally recognised qualifications.

This role is ideal for an SEN Teacher, SEND Tutor, Functional Skills Tutor or Post-16 Lecturer passionate about inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned to national standards
  • Embed English, Maths and British Values into teaching
  • Assess learners using RARPA and maintain individual learning plans
  • Monitor progress and attend learner reviews
  • Support safeguarding, behaviour management and health & safety compliance
  • Candidate Requirements

    Essential:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring learners with SEN / SEND / Learning Disabilities
  • Level 3 Maths and English, PGCE or Degree in Education.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce)
  • IT proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Safeguarding/Prevent training
