Location: Leeds Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £100-£120 per day Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a committed and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our welcoming and inclusive primary school in Leeds. This role spans Early Years through to Key Stage 2, offering a varied and rewarding opportunity to support pupils across the full primary age range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support learning activities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Deliver planned lessons and interventions under the guidance of teaching staff
- Support pupils with a range of needs, ensuring high levels of engagement and progress
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to enhance pupil outcomes
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Has experience working across the primary age range
- Is confident in managing behaviour effectively and positively
- Is adaptable, proactive, and passionate about supporting children's learning
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
