Room Leader - Early Years | Harrogate HG1
Location: HG1, Harrogate | Full-Time | Family-Run Nursery
Are you an experienced Room Leader ready to inspire, lead, and grow with a small, nurturing team? We're a family-run nursery in HG1 with a calming, nature-inspired ethos-and we're looking for a passionate Early Years professional to lead one of our clients rooms and help shape the next chapter of our journey.
If you've got at least 2 years of Room Leader experience and a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, we'd love to hear from you!
About Us:
We're a small, community-focused nursery that believes in child-led learning, outdoor exploration, and creating a warm, inclusive environment where children and staff feel valued. Our setting is calm, welcoming, and rooted in the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading your room with confidence, creativity, and care
Supporting children's development across the Prime and Specific Areas of Learning
Planning and delivering engaging activities that reflect the Characteristics of Effective Learning
Mentoring and supporting your team to deliver high-quality practice
Building strong relationships with families, children, and colleagues
Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards are met consistently
Bringing fresh ideas and a proactive mindset to help the nursery grow
What We're Looking For:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (CACHE, NVQ, BTEC or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Room Leader
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, child development, and safeguarding
A confident communicator and natural team motivator
Someone who's passionate, reliable, and full of ideas
A calm, nurturing approach that reflects our ethos
