Level 3 Early Years Educator - Preschool Room
Location: LS11, Leeds | Long-Term Role | Rolling 3-Month Contracts
Are you a passionate Level 3 Early Years Educator looking for a meaningful role in a nurturing, community-led setting? We're a small private day nursery in LS11, and we're seeking a dedicated practitioner to join our preschool team on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact-supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL), all while delivering high-quality learning experiences rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting children aged 3-5 in the preschool room, promoting the Prime and Specific Areas of Learning
Delivering targeted 1:1 support throughout the day, tailored to individual needs
Using the EYFS framework to observe, assess, and plan next steps for learning
Promoting the Characteristics of Effective Learning through play-based and adult-led activities
Creating inclusive, language-rich environments that celebrate diversity and individuality
Working closely with families, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure every child thrives
Encouraging independence, resilience, and school readiness
What We're Looking For:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, BTEC)
Experience supporting children with SEN and/or EAL
Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
A warm, proactive approach with excellent communication skills
Confidence in delivering 1:1 interventions and small group activities
A team player who values collaboration and community
