Science Technician - Secondary School - Greenwich Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full Academic Year (Temp to Perm Opportunity) Salary: Competitive, based on experience Location: Greenwich, South East London
We are currently working with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Greenwich to recruit a reliable and proactive Science Technician to join their Science department immediately. This is a full-time position for the entire academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:
Supporting the delivery of practical Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for experiments
Ensuring laboratories and equipment are maintained to health and safety standards
Assisting teachers during practical lessons when required
Managing stock levels and placing orders for supplies

Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as a Science Technician in a school or lab environment (preferred)
Strong understanding of lab safety procedures and practical science support
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
A science-related qualification is desirable but not essential
