About the Role:
At our clients Preschool Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a safe, inspiring, and supportive learning environment where children can thrive. You will lead a team of practitioners, plan engaging, play-based activities, and ensure that every child receives high-quality care and early education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate lesson plans that support the developmental needs of preschool-aged children
Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Lead and support a team of early years staff to deliver outstanding care and education
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating regularly about their child's progress
Manage behaviour in a calm and respectful way, promoting emotional well-being and independence
Monitor and record children's development, preparing reports and assessments as required
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience across the setting
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery or preschool setting is essential
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire both children and team members
Qualifications: A degree or recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) is preferred
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Organisation: Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised environment
Passion: A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality early education
