We are currently recruiting Early Years Assistants to join our growing team and support a variety of high-quality nurseries across Central Wakefield. You'll play a vital role in providing nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environments that help children learn, grow, and thrive.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Early Years Practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3) OR
Unqualified Early Years Assistants with relevant childcare experience
A genuine passion for working with children aged 0-5
Ability to adapt and support different nursery teams and routines
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A warm, caring, and professional approach
Key Responsibilities:
Support children's development through play-based learning
Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
Ensure the safeguarding, health, and wellbeing of all children
Help create stimulating learning environments across different nursery settings
Work collaboratively with permanent nursery staff and build positive relationships with children and families
