Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across the Leeds area who are seeking reliable, confident, and proactive Cover Supervisors to join their teams. Whether you're looking for full-time work or more flexible ad hoc days, we have opportunities to suit your availability.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supervising classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher. You won't be required to plan or mark work, but will be expected to manage classroom behaviour, deliver pre-set work, and ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
Ideal candidates will have:
Experience working with young people (e.g., in education, coaching, youth work, or similar)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A professional and adaptable approach
A genuine passion for supporting student learning
