We are currently recruiting for a PE Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in the borough of Hillingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering a future career in education-perhaps as a PE teacher-or for those planning a year out before starting a Master's or PGCE.
As a PE Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students in achieving their learning and physical education goals
- Encourage active participation and engagement in PE lessons
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery, coaching, and behaviour management
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to students' overall development
- Provide occasional academic support in core subjects such as English and Maths
To be considered, you should:
- Hold a degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related subject
- Be passionate about working with young people
- Be proactive, reliable, and confident in a school environment
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Have prior experience working with children or young people
- (Desirable) Be considering a career in teaching or further study (e.g. PGCE or Master's)
