SEN Learning Support Assistants required
North and Central London
Septmeber start
£95-£110 per day
We are currently seeking experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants for primary, secondary, and SEN schools across North and Central London. These full-time, term-time-only roles will be to begin in September 2025 and offer an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special educational needs.
As a, SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will support students with a range of special educational needs and learning difficulties, providing tailored assistance to help them reach their full potential-both academically and personally. We are looking for compassionate, proactive individuals with prior experience supporting SEN students in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities for SEN Learning Support Assistant:
- Supporting SEN students on a 1:1 basis
- Working proactively to help students achieve their attainment levels
- Encouraging students to engage with their learning
- Helping to provide a safe and supportive learning environment
- Assisting the teacher with students' general learning and development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a relevant degree (e.g., Psychology or Education Studies)
- Have a strong understanding of, and experience with, special educational needs
- Be a strong communicator and able to build rapport with young people
- Be patient, empathetic, and reliable
- Be committed to the school and students' progress
- Work effectively both independently and alongside the teacher
