We're looking for a dedicated Nursery SENCO to join our warm, forward-thinking team in Harrogate on a part-time basis (3 days per week) for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
???? About the Role:
Morning focus: Supporting children either in-room or on a 1:1 basis
Afternoon focus: SEN admin and coordination duties from the office
Working hours: 8am-6pm
Work in a unique setting that blends Montessori principles and Forest School ethos
???? Key Responsibilities:
Identify, support, and review the needs of children with SEND
Develop and implement targeted support strategies
Work closely with key staff, parents/carers, and external professionals
Maintain accurate records, EHCP paperwork, and support plans
Promote an inclusive, child-centred environment where all children can flourish
✨ What We're Looking For:
A qualified and experienced SENCO (Level 3 SENCO or working towards)
Strong understanding of the EYFS, SEND Code of Practice, and early intervention strategies
Excellent organisational, communication, and observation skills
A warm, flexible, and supportive approach to working with children and families
Passion for nature-based, exploratory learning is a big plus!

Fixed term for 12 months
3 days per week (days negotiable)
8am-6pm
