About the Role:
We're looking for a fun, motivated, and kind-hearted Nursery Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team. You'll work closely with our qualified practitioners to support children aged 0-5 through all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
You'll help plan exciting, age-appropriate activities that support child development, promote learning through play, and ensure every child feels safe, valued, and happy.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the daily routines (mealtimes, toileting, sleep routines)- Assist in planning and delivering educational play activities- Foster a warm, caring, and stimulating environment- Observe and support children's development in line with EYFS- Work in partnership with parents and carers- Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment- Promote inclusive practice and positive behaviour
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine love for children and a passion for their early education- Some experience in an early years setting (volunteering or paid)- Level 2 or above in Childcare is a bonus - but not essential- Energetic, creative, and confident working with young children- A good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework-A strong team player with great communication skills- A nurturing personality with a can-do attitude!
