SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Full-time/ Term Time only

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?
Well, we have a SEN Teaching Assistant position available in Enfield. You will support students with autism helping them access learning in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
- Manage challenging behaviour, using strategies that are suitable for each child.
- Support children with personal care needs such as feeding, toileting, and mobility, particularly if the child has physical disabilities.
- Provide tailored support to students with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, or emotional needs.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN.
- Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEMH/SEN students and dealing with challenging behaviour/classroom support.
- Experience working with autistic children or in a special educational needs setting
- Ability to adapt to changing classroom situations and the needs of individual children.
