Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and small group support to students across a range of subjects, helping them develop their academic skills.
- Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement learning plans and support the diverse needs of students.
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Help students with specific learning needs, ensuring they have the resources and support to thrive.
- Encourage students to build self-confidence, resilience, and independence in their learning.
- Support the teacher in preparing materials and managing classroom activities.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to support a range of students and learning needs.
- Previous experience in a similar role or a related qualification (such as a Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
