  • Provide individual and small group support to students across a range of subjects, helping them develop their academic skills.
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement learning plans and support the diverse needs of students.
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Help students with specific learning needs, ensuring they have the resources and support to thrive.
  • Encourage students to build self-confidence, resilience, and independence in their learning.
  • Support the teacher in preparing materials and managing classroom activities.
  • What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to support a range of students and learning needs.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a related qualification (such as a Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
