Temporary Year 4 Primary Teacher Location: Burnley Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (3rd June - End of Academic Year) Salary: Main Pay Scale
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Burnley is seeking a dedicated and resilient Primary Teacher to take on a temporary full-time role in a Year 4 class from 3rd June through to the end of the academic year.
This is a crucial role for a class that requires consistency and stability. The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management, a proven ability to engage learners, and experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND and SEMH needs.
The successful candidate will:
Demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies and a calm, consistent approach
Be confident in delivering high-quality teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Have experience working with pupils with SEND and SEMH, ideally in a primary classroom setting
Be committed to maintaining continuity for pupils and building positive, trusting relationships
Work collaboratively with support staff, parents/carers, and the wider school team
