Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to inspire and support pupils in their final year of primary school? A primary school in Morecambe is seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join our supportive and friendly team.
About the Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school. You will deliver engaging lessons, support students through SATs preparation, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Prepare students for their SATs and ensure they reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in KS2, preferably in Year 6.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and SATs preparation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
