Are you a passionate and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher with a strong presence in the classroom?
Are you confident in managing challenging behaviour and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient KS2 Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking primary school in WF2 area of Wakefield, This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives on making a difference, particularly with pupils who benefit from consistent boundaries and engaging, purposeful teaching.
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified and experienced teacher (QTS essential) with a strong track record in KS2.
- Confident in managing challenging behaviour using a calm, consistent approach.
- Able to foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Committed to raising standards and ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
- Adaptable, enthusiastic, and a strong team player.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic and personal growth.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to confidently manage challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to promoting a positive learning environment and fostering a love of learning in students.
