Ensure that all students receive the support they need to achieve their full potential, both in terms of academic performance and personal growth.
- Pastoral Support: Provide pastoral support for students, helping them navigate the social and emotional aspects of their learning. As an R.E. teacher, you will also be a role model in promoting positive values such as respect, empathy, and understanding.
- Professional Development: Take an active role in your own professional development, attending training sessions, workshops, and networking events to enhance your teaching practice and keep up to date with current educational trends and best practices.
- Collaboration & Extra-Curricular Activities: Work closely with other departments and school leadership to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to students' education. You will also be encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities that enhance students' learning experiences, such as religious study clubs, school assemblies, and trips.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, or equivalent) with QTS, or you must be working towards it.
