SEND Learning Support - ASAP Start
Location: Primary Schools Across Leeds Salary: £90-£100 Per Day Start Date: ASAP Hours: Part-Time and Full-Time Options Available
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistants to join our primary schools across Leeds. These roles offer both part-time and full-time options, starting as soon as possible.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Previous experience in a school setting, ideally with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs is highly desirable.
Skills: Ability to manage behaviour and de-escalate challenging situations. Experience or knowledge of Team Teach methods is advantageous.
Personal Qualities: Creative, fun, and able to build strong rapport with students. You must be able to set clear boundaries and provide a structured environment for pupils.
Role Responsibilities:
1:1 support for pupils with SEN, in and out of the classroom.
Supporting students who may be on alternative timetables or following an adapted curriculum.
Working closely with class teachers and other staff to ensure the individual needs of each pupil are met.
