EAL Teaching Assistant - St Albans

A vibrant and diverse school in St Albans is looking for an EAL Teaching Assistant to support students with English as an Additional Language (EAL). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to students' academic and linguistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with EAL students to improve their English language skills.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their potential.
  • Develop resources and activities tailored to the needs of EAL learners.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure EAL students receive appropriate support.
  • Requirements:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with EAL or language support experience.
  • Strong understanding of language acquisition and learning strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and encouraging approach to working with students.
  • Salary:£95-115 per day (depending on experience and qualifications).
