The Role:
As a Part-Time Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a dynamic and enthusiastic group of Year 2 students. You will work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that all children receive the best possible education. The position is offered on a part-time basis, covering [insert number] days per week, with the role being initially a maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 2 National Curriculum.
- Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing appropriate feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to reach their potential.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to plan and implement engaging cross-curricular activities.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 1 (KS1), is desirable.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a high standard of education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and creative approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
