About the Role:As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will step into different classrooms to cover for absent teachers, providing continuity and high standards of teaching across Key Stages 1 and 2. You will plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum, manage classroom behavior, and ensure that all children are supported in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of primary subjects
  • Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to suit the needs of the class
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support students with diverse learning needs
  • Provide feedback to staff on pupil progress
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure smooth transitions and the continued success of the students
  • About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (either as a permanent teacher or in supply roles)
  • A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A passion for inspiring and motivating young learners
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
