Veritas Education partners with a wide range of nurseries and primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for both long-term and short-term roles, as well as permanent and daily supply positions. We collaborate with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Behaviour Support Assistants to work in schools in West London. Roles are full-time, term-time-only, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, to start immediately and in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities for Behaviour Support Assistant:
- Supporting students with a range of behavioural, emotional, and educational needs.
- Working proactively to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Encouraging students to actively engage with their learning in a positive and constructive manner.
- Helping to create and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students' overall development.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant you will have:
- Proven experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges or special educational needs.
- Previous experience supporting children and young people with diverse needs in an educational or care setting.
- Knowledge of effective learning and behaviour management strategies.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to making a positive difference.
- Strong ability to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.
