Teaching Assistant

  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Dagenham, East London
  • Hours: Full-Time, 8:30 AM - 3.30 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Pay: Earn up to £500 a week depending on education and experience
  • Contract: Long-term, Full-time
  • Start Date: September 2024

A 'Good' OFSTED graded Primary School in Dagenham, East London is looking for enthusiastic and passionate graduates for September, to make a difference and help inspire young learners.

    About the Teaching Assistant Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a full-time Teaching Assistant where you will play a crucial role in both the classroom environment and the children's learning journey, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. You will be supporting students with Learning difficulties and running small group interventions for those that are struggling to access the curriculum and require extra support.

    Key Responsibilities for Teaching Assistant:

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation.
  • Provide 1-1/small group support for children with SEN.
  • Adapt learning materials and resources to meet the needs of every child in the classroom.
  • Support social and emotional development for all and be a positive role model.
  • Requirements for Teaching Assistant:

  • Minimum education - Undergraduate Degree.
  • Experience working within the education sector is desired.
  • Experience running small group interventions for children with SEN
  • Academically strong and enthusiastic about education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
  • An enhanced DBS on the online update service is desired but not necessary.
