We are currently working with a secondary school in the borough of Haringey that is looking for a passionate and motivated Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant and Academic Coach to start as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with strong A-Level Physics knowledge and ideally some experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring).
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Academic Coach, you will:
- Support students in achieving their academic goals in Physics
- Encourage active engagement with learning and foster a positive attitude towards the subject
- Help create a safe and productive learning environment
- Assist the teacher in general student development, learning, and behaviour management, promoting positive behaviour at all times
Ideally you will already have some experience of working with young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher. After one year, there may be an opportunity to pursue a teacher training pathway with the school.
