Location: Lewisham, Secondary School
Contract: Full-Time (25th November - 12th December 2024, with potential for extension)
Position: Geography Teacher (KS3/KS4)
Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Geography teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Lewisham for a short-term cover from 25th November to 12th December 2024. The role has the potential to be extended into a longer-term position for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You must have a strong understanding of the Geography curriculum, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- A passion for Geography and education
- Available to work full-time from 25th November to 12th December, with potential for a longer-term contract
- DBS on Update Service is advantageous
