We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.
We are currently seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Watford to begin asap. The role will be full time, 8.30am-4pm Monday-Friday, term time only.
Main duties and responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor will be as follows:
- Independently cover absent teachers across the school
- Support students who have difficulties
- Deliver pre-planned lessons
- Encourage students to engage with their learning proactively
- Help students reach their attainment levels
- Manage behaviour effectively
- Provide a safe learning enviornment
- Liaise with senior staff /colleagues
Requirements for Cover Supervisor role:
- Degree level qualifications
- Must have a good understanding of the UK curriculum
- Previous classroom /teaching/cover supervisor experience
- Experience managing behaviour
- An understanding of leading and directing a class
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding
