- Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Part-Time, 2 or 3 days per week)

A vibrant and successful school in Hayes is looking for a Reception teacher on a part-time, 2/3 day a week basis to teach in their Reception class from January 2025. Job Overview:
- The school is seeking a Reception teacher for a part-time role, ideally to cover Monday and Tuesday (days are negotiable) for the rest of the academic year starting in January.
- The successful candidate will plan and teach alongside another Reception teacher and work with a class of approximately 30 pupils.
- There is potential to move to a permanent contract with the school at the end of July 2025.
- The school is looking for a candidate who is passionate, enthusiastic, and highly committed to early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and planning lessons in the Reception class.
- Collaborating with the other Reception teacher to plan lessons and manage classroom activities.
- Promoting high standards of learning and development in line with the school's curriculum.
- Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and the school's vision and values.
Requirements:
- Experience in Early Years education (Reception class or similar).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or ECT qualification.
- Recent teaching experience (within the last 5 years).
- Ability to adapt to different teaching methods and environments.
- Strong skills in Literacy and Numeracy.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and well-organized approach to teaching.
- A passion for engaging and promoting progress for young learners.
