We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner or Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our pre-school team in Garstang and Preston. This role is ideal for someone with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years, eager to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and nurturing environment.
**Position Overview:**- **Role:** Early Years Practitioner / Early Years Teaching Assistant- **Location:** Garstang and Preston- **Hours:** 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM (Full-time and part-time options available)- **Type:** Long-term agency role with potential for a permanent position after 12 weeks- **Pay:** Competitive rates based on experience and qualifications
**Role Responsibilities:**- Support young children's learning and development through engaging and structured activities- Collaborate with other team members to create a positive, nurturing environment- Establish strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive pre-school community- Conduct observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt activities to their needs- Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment
**Requirements:**- **Qualification:** Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent) is essential- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach with young children- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the evolving needs of the pre-school setting- Commitment to promoting curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children
