Location: Burnley Position: Part-Time Teacher for Key Stage 2 SEN Unit Start Date: November 11, 2025 Salary: Teachers Pay Range (competitive based on experience)
About the Role: We are excited to announce an opportunity for a part-time teacher to join a supportive school in Burnley, working with a small group of Key Stage 2 children in their newly established Special Educational Needs (SEN) unit. This role will focus on supporting children with autism, helping them thrive both socially and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teaching sessions for a small group of children in the SEN unit.
- Develop and adapt the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has proven experience working with SEN children, particularly those with complex needs.
- Is creative and adaptable in their teaching approach.
Working Hours: This position will involve teaching 2-3 days per week.
