Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1) Location: Primary School in Blackburn
Job Description: We are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a KS1 class at a welcoming primary school in Blackburn. This role will be supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and working closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a SEN setting
- Relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of SEN and the ability to support diverse learning needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
