Veritas Education is currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join one of our partner schools in the Bradford area. This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives, helping them overcome barriers to learning, and managing challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with behavioural needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning environments.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and parents to monitor and support students' progress.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour support plans.
  • Promote emotional and social development, helping students build resilience and self-esteem.
  • Support classroom teachers with general class management and behaviour intervention.
  • Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an education environment is essential - ideally in a behaviour support, teaching assistant, or pastoral role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to supporting students' individual needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
